"My Justice is with Jehovah..."Isaiah 49:4

Other translations for the verse in the title:

"Yet a just verdict for me rests with the Lord, and my reward is with my God.” (EHV)

"Yet, certainly my case is in the Lord’s hands, and my reward is with my God.” (GW)

"But the Lord will decide what my work is worth. God will decide my reward.” (ICB)

Today, a 5 1/2-year struggle ended. I lost in the earthly legal system.

I know people lied on the stand - the two most culpable witnesses in a case I filed against an employer for wrongful termination.

I know every policy broken was broken by my employer - and that I was the one who lost my job.

I also know that God is the One on the throne, and He turns EVERYTHING for good, for us who love Him.

I know "the LORD loves justice And does not abandon His godly ones"(Ps. 37:28).

So my praise report is not that things turned out the way I hoped. My praise report is that my God is good, even when our situations are terrible.

Isaiah 49:4 says, "Nevertheless, I’ll let God have the last word. I’ll let him pronounce his verdict.” (MSG)

God, I love that YOU have the last word. That is all I want to hear.
