Starting a Podcast!

I am beginning, as of today, to share and post some videos, both here on my blog as well as on an "Inconvenient Ruth" podcast I created (I think?!) today.

It is too important to speak the truth. As I have begun to speak out about unbearable treatment, I have been accused of lying, and am being shunned by many in my Christian community, but silence about abuse is complicity with abuse, and I no longer comply. Compliance with abuse will result in more victims. I cannot and will not any longer tolerate that, as far as it depends on me.

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “It’s not the violence of the few that scares me, it’s the silence of the many.”

I hope my podcast and this website, will continue to help those targeted by abusive persons and systems to escape and heal from the abuse, and I hope my words would make it less convenient for abusers to continue in their destructive behaviors while controlling their narrative that misleads many dear, unsuspecting, trusting people astray.

Here are the first two episodes of my podcast. They are super simple: someday, I may actually make them more visually appealing. But that is not my priority. I hope it doesn't make it hard for anyone to watch these; I will work on improving them over time.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. I Tim. 1:17 (KJV)

This comment will attempt to provide a little more background on the person Ruth mentions in her second podcast episode:

While we cannot rule out the possibility that this Lord's Recovery co-worker was gossiping anonymously about Ruth's specific situation, this recording of his speaking openly to church leaders in Peru does seem to confirm the existence of a global pattern of tolerating "wife abuse" at the hands of "positive toward the church" or "front-row" brothers. The complete absence of Godly wisdom in Ron's fellowship is extremely disheartening to me. I suppose whenever a religious system of worship completely shit-cans the concept of right vs wrong, this is where you will end up...
